The food was good, the service staff were friendly. T. should be a little more attentive (= longer waiting times for the service, although very little was going on)

Attentive and very friendly service. Kitchen offers home-style classics. Only the porcini mushroom soup was a reason for criticism whether it was unfortunately too pulpy.

Tastes good and the service was really very friendly. Especially in the evening you can look out onto a floodlit fountain from the upper floor. The menu is small, but the food tastes really good home-style. Only for vegetarians could there be more on offer.

From the taste, everything is a treat. The portions are of a good and filling size. I found the offer very likeable. Fast and polite service. I think that the entire restaurant staff did a good job there. We find the inn suitable for all occasions, whether with colleagues, friends or relatives.

Very, very tasty. Staff okay. Portions too small, unfortunately. For 14.60 (main course) I wasn't full.

The bar is in a small square next to many other bars by a fountain. It is not so close to the other restaurants, which I found really beneficial in times of Corona. The kitchen and the service were very good, they catered to individual requests. Attentive, quick and friendly service. The price-performance ratio is perfectly fine.

We can only recommend the Lark's Nest. Super delicious food, cozy atmosphere and such warm people there. The time passed by in a flash and we had a lot of fun. So the rainy (birth) day ended with a great evening. Thank you and see you soon!

I went to the Lark's Nest for the first time yesterday evening with my visit from Stuttgart. We found the food very tasty, but we were particularly impressed by the service. A nice service person helped my old mother down the stairs to the quiet place, and a young waiter also impressed us with his friendliness and helpfulness, and this on his first day at the Lerchennest !! We can definitely recommend the inn!

We stopped here during our city tour. There was plenty of seating outside so we ate refreshments. The service was very attentive and friendly. A nice place to stay.

Manageable menu, unfortunately also manageable portions, at least when we ate there, goulash with red cabbage and dumplings. Goulash = VERY clear Red cabbage = can consistency Dumplings = OK The service quite snappy. It's a shame, because this location is really good and actually looks very promising.

Great restaurant in a great location. Good, authentic cuisine and typical Leipzig service that is refreshing to the heart. Always my pleasure.

Unfortunately not so good, Veal schnitzel dry and hard as the sole of a shoe, too long in deep fryer. Potato salad, potatoes still hard. No warmth .. Calf's liver was better Mashed potatoes was greasy and crumbly .. After eating it always groans u. severe heartburn that has been going on since 7 p.m., now 1.5 hours later ... Not recommendable.

Steak "au four" was very good, vegetables on point. Large portion, service on the ball and very friendly.

Nice courtyard. Personnel: Passion looks different. Wheat beer: Büble with clear off-flavors (a brewing technician was sitting at the table), asked the host: it has to be like that. Usually a self-respecting restaurateur offers an alternative - not so here. Food: ok, but no more. Conclusion: the choice of restaurant was a clear mistake!

Nice waiter and authentic food

Great food. Fast and friendly service. Outside seating. Great area to watch the world go by while having one of their home made lemonades.

So... incorrect order delivered. Pic attached of the goulash. Looked great, but I ordered the potato soup, Thuringian sausage and sauerkraut. I do love goulash and I had to try hard not to eat it. The soup was flavorful and good. All the meat was fat and gristle. Hard to decide if that was enough to leave me with a bad impression. Sausage was impressive in flavor, potatoes flavorless and plain. Holy hannah the sauerkraut was heavenly! Thickened, small sausage pieces, some carrot shredded, bay leaves. Perfect temperature. Oh my! They get a star back for the kraut.

We chose the roulade and we all share the same opinion, it was delicious and cooked with love. Here you can taste that the roulades are homemade and the filling is perfect. The red cabbage is also homemade and not a finished product like in other restaurants. The service was quick and very friendly. We all felt very comfortable and can give this place 5 stars with calm certain. Kudos to the team.

Cozy place with friendly service. We went there for coffee and "Leipziger Lerchen," à delicious Saxon treat. A bit pricey but no more than you would expect at such a central location.

Just came from Dresden where we had amazing restaurant experience. Here was not impressed for the price and a little overcooked chicken to my taste. But service was great!

Very poor service, cold food, and mixed up orders. Go some where else!
